Americans are so enamored of clichés, TLAs, & supply-side jargon, it’s no wonder we’ve become a nation of miserable fucks (NOMF™), too dumb to understand how dumb we are & proud of it, by cracker!
Individually, we’re swell. We even have saints & geniuses among us, but as a whole, we’re irredeemably and a whole lot of ugly on the side.
Whenever somebody tells you “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it,” what they really mean is: “I got mine, so fuck all y’all.”
Never forget Doctor Faustroll’s first rule of pataphysics: “Moderation, like poetry, makes nothing happen."
