Uninsured Guns Don’t Kill People; Antifas Kill People
“Don’t these greaseballs have anything better do than try to take away the very things that make us great?” NRA Nimrod in Chief Wayne LaPierre asked a random Fox Gnus host after San Jose Sam Liccardo’s news conference Monday, where he championed today’s City Council vote to address America’s half century of increasing gun violence since perennial Mt. Rushmore candidate Ronald Reagan was senselessly gunned down because of Martin Scorcese’s sexualization of Jodie Foster.
The GOP insists that John Hinckley’s assassination of Ronald Reagan in 1981 never happened, nor will they acknowledge he was replaced by a surgically modified porpoise, who successfully ran for reelection in 1984 & eventually emigrated to Iceland to be with Keiko, with whom he had once shared a tank at Sea World.
In 2001, Reagan was viciously attacked by unemployed extras from a bankrupt Russian production of West Side Story, which left him in a coma that many in the GOP dismissed as an extended nap time that geniuses need to keep coming up with great ideas to make the country great again.
The NRA responded to coverage of the assassination attempt (which, at the time, was called a hoax or false-flag operation by gun & ammuniotion manufacturer’s) by insisting that Congress enact a law requiring all elected officials to carry firearms or at least surround themselves with people who were packing.
They divided America into two groups, bad guys with guns & good guys with guns, who have been at war ever since. Those without guns are considered civilians, who are also sometimes called “collateral damage.”
Soon the hundreds of gun deaths each day in the US began to be called an “epidemic of gun violence,” which led the NRA & GOP to forbid federal agencies from wasting time and resources studying gun violence, when it was clearly a communicable disease.
Diseases are all eventually eradicated by highly effective vaccines that Republicans could call a government plot to take away the nation’s guns, which by that time had already outnumbered registered voters in our nation of miserable fucks.
Estimates today indicate that there are nearly 400 million unregistered firearms in the US, leading some in the GOP & NRA to propose extending voting rights to guns of a certain caliber, as yet to be determined.
But recently the tide of public opinion concerning gun violence has shifted as the epidemic has resulted in nearly everyone in the country knowing someone who had personally been shot, shot someone, considered shooting someone, dreamed of shooting tons of people, threatened to shoot someone, or wished someone had been shot.
“It got to where I was sleeping with the barrel in my mouth and the safety off,” said one former NRA member who now considers himself a recovering gun addict, “and I wasn’t alone. Of the 40 thousand successful gun deaths in 2018, 25 thousand, over 60 percent were suicides. Think of that. Our guns were killing us and we were just letting them. What’s wrong with us?”
While no one pretends to have the answer to Adam Lanza’s haunting question, some municipalities have begun fighting back against the guns.
In Idiotville, for instance, there are fees, taxes, & permits required to possess ammunition. Anyone caught with ammunition must provide proof that the ammo was legally purchased & that all fees, taxes, and other associated dues were up to date.
People found in violation are subject to immediate removal from the gene pool, but this is such an extreme case that few take it seriously.
San Jose’s proposal, on the other hand, is based on the same social engineering approach that requires homeowners to carry insurance in order to obtain mortgages or drivers to provide proof of licenses and registration to law enforcement or having their outlaw asses hauled off to jail.
“San Jose has an opportunity to become a model for the rest of the nation,” Liccardo said, “to invest in proven strategies to reduce gun violence, domestic violence and suicide and the many other preventable harms from firearms in our communities.”
